Hot, uncensored listening station action!

(Above: Not our listening station.)

Yeah, so maybe we have been bludgeoning you all over the head a little bit about our new listening stations, but our enthusiasm is warranted. After all, they give each and every one of you the opportunity to listen to over 30 albums in their ENTIRETY and at your complete LEISURE. Indeed, it's an all-caps kind of awesome, and we're happy to provide it for you. However, some of you surely haven't had a chance with the listening stations just yet, so here's a handy-dandy list of what's on each of them:

The "rock/indie/whatever" station:
Modest Mouse - We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank
Arcade Fire - Neon Bible
Wilco - Sky Blue Sky (Don't forget about the upcoming party!)
Spoon - GaGaGaGaGa
Bright Eyes - Cassadaga
The Shins - Wincing the Night Away
Dinosaur Jr. - Beyond
Kings of Leon - Because of the Times
Ted Leo and the Pharmacists - Living With the Living
LCD Soundsystem - Sound of Silver
Panda Bear - Person Pitch
Neil Young - Live at Massey Hall 1971

The "adult alternative/laid back" station:

Rodrigo y Gabriela - s/t
Michael Buble - Call Me Irresponsible
Regina Spektor - Begin to Hope
Mavis Staples - We'll Never Turn Back
Lily Allen - Alright, Still
Lucinda Williams - West
Fountains of Wayne - Traffic and Weather
Corinne Bailey Rae - s/t
Brandi Carlile - The Story
Patti Smith - Twelve
v/a - A Tribute to Joni Mitchell (Bjork, Elvis Costello, Emmylou Harris, k.d. lang, Annie Lennox, Sarah McLachlan, Brad Mehldau, Prince, Sufjan Stevens, James Taylor, Caetano Veloso, Cassandra Wilson)

The "local/regional/Georgia" station:
v/a - How Low Can You Go? Anthology of the String Bass (1925-1941)
v/a - Desperate Man Blues (soundtrack)
v/a - Art of Field Recording
v/a - I Belong to this Band: Eighty-Five Years of Sacred Harp Recordings
(The above four are brought to you by our pals at excellent local label, Dust-to-Digital.)
National Grain - s/t
Sodajerk - Sodajerk 2
Silver Lakes - The Great Pretenders
Nicole Chillemi - Mention of You
Blake Guthrie and Getaway Car - Til I Reach the Light
Rising Appalachia - Scale Down
Modern Skirts - Catalogue of Generous Men

Whoa, buddy. Now that's a lot of music. You can thank us later for taking care of your plans for the whole weekend. You could literally spend an entire day working your way through all this stuff, though we suggest that you tackle it in smaller, repeated visits. That said, we'll see you soon...

hey, while working at Twains this week I actually had three different people comment on seeing/hearing me in the listening station. So, that was cool, I guess.
