Decatur CD Goes Commercial

A busy 2010 has gotten the better of us. About a month ago, our friends at Creative Outlet Productions, who you might remember as the talented folks who put together a clip from our recent in-store performance with The Dutchess and The Duke, made a commercial for the store. You can watch it above (or watch it here full-screen!). Fun stuff, no? If you need any local video work done, you'd do well to ring up Creative Outlet. Tell them DCD sent you!

RIP Jay Reatard

Chances are, if you've been on the internet reading about music today, you've already heard about the passing of Jimmy Lee Lindsey Jr. (AKA: Jay Reatard). We have fond memories of the headline-making, garage rocking knucklehead, and frankly, 29 is just not enough years for someone of such talent to be around on this planet. But hey, he certainly packed a lot his time. You'll be missed, Jay. Pour one out, y'all.
